Might as well just kill them all now and get it over with.

Dang, hate to see Honey Bees killed. Seems they been dieing off on their own the past few years. I had some here in a box like that a few years ago. I just left them alone and they left about a month later. However, it was an out of the way box.

You might see if there are any Bee Keepers in your area and get them to move them.

^^^^^ If you don't kill them or have them removed they will return year after year after year to the same spot. I have had them return for 5 yrs in a row to an old farm house. Patch the hole and they find another place close to set up.

That may be the case some of the time but the ones that were here in an old wooden box here never returned.

We called 4 different ones out to our place and none of them would come get them.

Soapy water WILL kill em. They breath through tiny holes in their sides between the abdomen and thorax, when the holes are clogged with soap they suffocate.

I don't like to see them killed either way still, when in the proper places and behaving, they are good to have.

Tell me I'm not the only one thinking of the Duck Dynasty guys. You need to call Phil. He can take care of them and make Mrs Kay happy happy.

We're losing a very beneficial species for vegetative species and the only thought is kill them all - how sad.

My son had some honey bee's move into a hollow in his front yard a few years ago. They were a very aggressive bloodline and he was bitten several times when trying to mow or work in the yard. A local bee man came robbed them and carried them home with him. He came back the next day killed the remaining bees and sealed the hollow. He told me later that they were so aggressive and mean he had to kill them in the end. He thought they must have been the African bloodline

We have ZERO honeybees in Richardson. Our house is near Rowlett creek,we have Martins,Fox,Coyotes,Bobcats,Owls,Hawks ,no honeybees. I planted a boatload of cantaloupe seeds and they are blooming profusely, yet they haven't been pollinated,result-no cantaloupes. I could use the bees.

Found a honeybee hive at a buddies place in an old feeder. He wanted the feeder back so we tied a tow strap to the feeder. Drug it around for a little while to knock the hive out. Those things were trying to attack the truck. Finally everything seemed to settle down. Threw the feeder in the back and went home since I had to go to work. Went in, took a shower and came out to get in my truck. There were hundreds of bees swarming this feeder. It was 5 miles away from where we originally found the hive. Had to wait until dark to throw the thing out on his land. Crazy bees!
