I have a friend that has 600 acres to lease. It's $10 an acre and he only wants 3 hunters on it, it's year round hunting. You will have to talk to him about family. It has 4 good ponds, a good creek and a big hill on it. It's south of Breckenridge in the Wayland area. It was not hunted last year.
This Ranch Has Been Leased

Yep,,Woot is a Hoot for sure. Talked to him a little while ago and he said he was getting some calls on the place. I bet he has it leased before the weekend is up..

I bet you are right I tried to get some fiends to lease it from him a couple weeks ago, but they keep dragging their feet so I give up. After he leases it they will call me for his number again just watch. I dont feel bad though I tried!

Do you have any more info on this lease? I tried the number but the line was busy. $6,000 is a little steep for a lease.

$10 an acre is very cheap compared to the other places in our county!

ehh. last year i paid $1100 for 380 acres in Stephens county. That is on the cheap side but i have seen plenty well below the $2500 range. Not trying to push any buttons, just saying what ive seen.

You arent going to make me mad, I just know what the places with quality deer go for. The taxidermist in town has a bunch of people come to him and try to get their land leased and most is 12-18 an acre depending on how much land.

There is a lot more to pricing a hunting tract then the number of acres.
