I was wondering if anybody is shooting a 50Cal. muzzle loader or needs ammo and such? I sold my Thompson Center 50 Cal. and still have all of the ammo, powder, wads, caps, flask, powder measurer, some sabbots, and more. If anyone is interested in this stuff please let me know... I don't need it anymore. I would give to someone who could use it.

My dad does and he said he is going to hunt with his exclusivly this year. He has 5 balls left and he is trying to see about finding the new white powder. It is suppose to burn cleaner or something.

I will have to dig it out of the closet to see exactly how much is there. I can tell you just by guessing there is probably about 5 boxes of balls and two or three packages of sabbots. There is a pretty full tin of caps and atleast one bag of wads, some rifle powder and pistol powder. I would be willing to ship it at your cost or meet you somewhere for the cost of gas. either way you would come out alot cheeper than buying it from the store. If you are interested you can give me a call on my cell in the evenings. 817-793-7425 Rick

Ricky, I shoot 50 caliber almost exclusively now days.

Raiderred, I've shot some Triple 7. It's very easy to clean up. Doesn't smell bad either. However, for me it doesn't seem as accurated as Goex black powder. Triple 7 also seems to be effected by moisture much more than regular black powder.
