I currently shoot 4 pin sights, really been looking at the single pin set ups. I'm replacing string and cables, and putting on a new rest... Now is the time to make a change if I'm going to. What do y'all think about the single pin vs. multi pin sights for deer and hog hunting in East Texas??
What you really need is a 300 Winchester Magnum. That is the best caliber on the planet, probably even in the solar system and maybe the universe. Go get him! Shoot him in the face!

couldn't hurt any, what do you have to lose while you are changing the rest of your setup??

Ive shot the trijicon sight and many of the other single pin slides on the market currently. My issue with them is that you can not easily change your range without doing a full let-down. They are great for 3d and target shooting, but when hunting I feel that multi pin sights are much better since you never know what a animal will do and any extra movement can get you busted.

The Trijicon looks pretty neat, a bit spendy though.
I don't have the time or inclination to fiddle with adjusting a single pin sight.
They're neat, and would be fine for target shooting but too much to go wrong in the field.
I am pretty darn happy with my Spot Hogg Hogg-It. I've got a different color pin for each yardage. I mark my hunting area with flagging tape that matches my pin color so I know at a glance what the distance is.
