Tried to hunt friday night. The mosquitos were so bad they drove me out of my blind. They probably saved the life of a hog or two.
I had one of the Off brand electronic repellers in the blind with me but it did not seem to work.
How do you guys control them?

Thermacell...but when all else fails, put a drier sheet in your pocket and pull it out untill about half is showing. Don't know why but it works well in a pinch.

We pinned drier sheets outside my back door and it made a noticeable difference in the Mosquito's. Thermacell...but when all else fails, put a drier sheet in your pocket and pull it out untill about half is showing. Don't know why but it works well in a pinch.

I'm still amazed at the number of people who have never heard of Thermacell. It works. Of course with the dry weather we have had in the past couple seasons there has been no need for anything, but when mosquitoes are bad, I will have my Thermacell with me.

I hunted all last year and the mosquitos were not a problem. It has rained about 3 inches since the last hunt I did in May. This time out they about carried me off.
I will give the thermacell a try.

Thermacell!!! Just got one and it works great!!! Refills are a little pricy but I've been using it while drinking coffee on the porch for 3 hours a day. Using for hunting it would last a while unless you hunt all day.
