I knew a small band of renegade hogs would be rooting up the wet soil under an irrigation system tonight. Approaching within shooting distance would be difficult, so I dropped off smurf at the corner of their escape route. He was scared to be left alone, so I instructed him to hide behind the gate while I doubled back in the truck and stampeded the herd towards the choke point. Racing out in front, I leapt from the moving truck with rifle in hand. The plan was to lay down overlapping fields of fire and take out the entire population. Unfortunately, smurf froze and I don't think he even fired a shot. Still, he's part of the team and I’m glad to have him in the pic.

Nicely done there Jones. Nicely done. Were those piglets eradicated with pass thru's on the boars? Or do you not have an issue with singling out women and children?

Nice story bud .Ya know if you'd quit focusing on shootem them stripers our hog count would sure go up faster.I know the little ones are smaller targets and harder to hit but those 2 guys got stuck in the road ,they couldn't even get up and out of the ditch.Good shootin
