I am lookin at replacing the hostage rest on my
Bowtech with a good drop away. I was looking at the QAD drop away at on target for $134. Any better options for quality or price?

Ive shot the QAD, Ripcord, and Limbdrivers. My current preference is the limbdriver pro-v.

QAD Ultra Rest HD is the best on the market.

Cmorsch the limb driver seems like it
Wouldn't be too practical for spot
And stalk type hunting. What are your thoughts?

I havent had a issue with the pro-v on spot and stalk hunts. The origional one I dont think would work to well. But as long as you dont turn the bow upside down your arrow will not fall out of the pro-v.

I have the pro v limb driver and I spot and stalked all over southwestern co for elk last year and didn't have an issue.

If you have a dual cam bow I highly recommend limb driver... Both the orginal and pro v are great rests

I use the limbdriver pro-v cause of the speed of my bow, I feel that the more control you have over the arrow the better. I also do not like to have to tie the rest into the cables, as this adds to your holding weight and I think takes away from the speed of the bow. And like BOBO said they are great on dual cam bows.

I put the Trophy Ridge Revolution on my new bow. Works great so far.

You can't fix stupid but you can numb it with a 2x4

My hunting bows I like Trophy Taker Shaker but I recently bought an alpine whisperflite match grade drop away for my 3D bow and so far seems to be a great little drop away for under $50.00

Another topic of curiosity, who here values a quality rest over quality sights?

I would not put a cheap quality anything on a bow. You do not have to spend a ton of money to get a good product.

I have quality both and I wouldnt have it any other way. I used to shoot the cheap crap on my older bows. Now that I have a great bow, I put great products on it and trust me, I shoot way better with quality products.

I guess my wording made it sound as an either or choice. What I meant to inquire is who feels that a high quality rest will positively effect an archer's performance more so than a high quality sight? Not that either part should
Be low quality.

Gotta have quality on both. I like the micro-adjustable Spot Hogg Sights to go with the QAD Rest.

I went with a QAD HD rest and copper John single pin sight. Shooting it yesterday, I am so far pleased with the set up as an upgrade tonthe standard rest and sight on a bowtech assassin package.
