I can't remember if I e asked this here but what do y'all recommend?

I bought the 18-1 target from bass pro I like it alot. I can shoot any kind of tip. Also bough a hurricane bag from bass pro as well. Next I might buy a few fake animals . So far I'm happy with both of the targets

rinehart 18-1 but when outside I only use broadheads.

I just use a Cabela's brand block target. I had enough points to get one and usually by the time I need another one, I have more points saved up and get the same one again.

Used to use bag targets but I have recently gotten a block from Cabela.

I have a block thats held up okay but ive heard a lot of good things about the rineheart target

The bags cannot be used with broadheads but the blocks don't really hold up well to them ime.

18-1 best thing out there!!

18-1 is great, if you shoot out the sides within 1 year they replace it for free. I personally have shot out one in 9 months, but I only shoot broadheads and usually shoot 200-300 shots in a day or more if its not to bad outside, and I do that 7 days a week.

how bad does it wear on your broadheads? also what heads do you shoot and what bow?

Here's another one for the Rinehart. Very happy with mine.

I have seperate sets of broadheads that are just used for practice, shooting them only made the blade dull but could easily be resharpened. I use muzzy mx3, magnus stinger and stinger buzzcuts, and german kenetic silverflames. I also have 6 grim reaper practice heads that I can use if I feel like using a mechanical. And I shoot a 70# bowtech destroyer 350.

I have not and will never. I dont trust any broadhead thats held closed by a o-ring. I prefer fixed blades, I have the grim reapers for my back up bow only, as I shoot a lighter weight broadhead with it usually.

I have Morrel pack. One is a large block fp target and the other is a bhs target. Both work well and take alot of shots

why do you need to use your broadhead on a target anyway I use field tips that are same weight and it shoots the same as when i use my 100 g muzzys

I use them so I can see how my arrows behave in different weather conditions.

I just won a "Big Green Target" block type target...about to try it out.

No high jack. It is a target.

For 3d targets look for one with easy to replace inserts that are not stupidly expensive. I personally like the glendel pre-rut for deer and some of the mckenzies for other game species. The Glendel is nice cause you can change the way the vitals appear based on how you shoot. IE treestand positioning.
