Crossed over from the fishing forum, looking to learn more and maybe meet some people. I'm a fan of all forms of hunting, but just really enjoy being outside. May carry a rifle with me when out and about, but doesn't mean I have to shoot something. Currently dealing with hogs on a buddies property, and a mountain lion that passes through every now and then.

Especially black panthers LOL, despite my buddy's ravings about seeing a black panther, I think I have a better chance of having a drink with D.B. Cooper than catching one. Odds of getting a mountain lion up here aren't far behind. Thanks for the welcome guys! I'll try and post pics up whenever I have something worth showing. Only thing I've gotten lately was some pictures of a doe out at Hagerman on my way to a fishing spot. -Eric

Sadly, never seen it myself. Landowner and her nieghbors says it has usual colorings. What we have found are tracks, and some of the calves that have been dragged into some real thick stuff before being left to decompose. Hoping to get a game camera here soon and be able get some pics maybe. From my understanding I have alot against me. Not enough land to actively hunt, no dogs, and not able to routinely check on the place. Generally go down there after a sighting or when a calf is missing. The time we found tracks was while working on the fence. Hoping to just be able to have a positive ID on it here at some point.
