Anyone know what good Nubian Ibex hunts are going for? Low to mid 30's with good knots?

We had one running loose on our 250 acre lease for over 6 years that was at least that big that we weren`t allowed to shoot. It came off a high fence place beside us. It finally dissappeared either getting shot by a neighbor or by coyotes. What a waste. They finally trapped almost 30 off of our lease and moved them to a ranch somewhere else and trapped the rest off of the high fence ranch and moved them as well. I later found out from someone who worked on the ranch , that they killed the rest of them because there wasn`t enough money in them with the price of corn and protien being so high. They also ran a lot of the deer away from the feeders in deer season when they had hunters paying for a deer only hunt. I can asure you that we had already found that out the hard way. I sure would have liked to have shot that big ram though.

What a shame if they only knew that 2 of them would probably pay for a years worth of corn!

Definitely not a pure Nubian....but a nice Ibex nonetheless.

As I mentioned in another topic a guy I know had a nice Nubian Ibex for $3000. It sold though a few months ago.

If it was a real Nubian he sold it too cheap. Patio Ranch gets $300 an inch for theirs.
