I carry a brinkman that I bought from walmart for $40. it is rechargeable and comes with red, blue and orange lenses covers. I have personally spotlighted and clearly saw a bobcat a 211 yards in pitch black. shined him and shot him. it is great and clear and you can actually see what your are looking at to about 250 yards. maybe further...

If you're not wanting to spend that much money I use the little orange led ones from walmart. I believe they are brinkman, $20 and they take AA batteries. I have two, I colored one lense red with a marker and leave the other one white. They are good out to about 300yds. Thats about as far as I want to shoot at night. I won't use anything else anymore.

x2 on a Brinkman. I use a portable car battery charger with an AC outlet that I can plug into the wall to charge. Plug the spotlight into the AC outlet, and walk where ever I want. Only cons are that it takes a while to charge, and you can only leave it on 10 minutes at a time. Other than that, it's helped me kill a lot of pigs and varmints.

I have the Kill Light XLR250 in green mounted on my gun, its a awesome light. I also have a Light Force that I use and it is a great light. I would replace them both if something happened to them.

Look into the Cyclops brand, I was amazed at how long a single charge lasted when I first got it. Going on a few years and I'm not sure if it's as bright but man does it last a long time.

I keep one of those 12v rechargeable batteries in my blind...with a solar panel outside the blind to keep it charged at all times. Then, I attached a cigarette lighter to the battery. It's portable, always charged, and I can use any size spotlight that I want!

I have had excellent use from the Brinkman QBeam 2MM with the "boxy" removable battery. Very bright and batteries going on 3+ years old. Walmart about $40.
Currently on a "Don't Need to Know" basis.

Seach: Stanley 5W Waterproof LED Spotlight
Hands down the best flashlight i have ever owned! Shockproof, waterproof, holds a charge for about 8-10 hrs.
