I was given a waterbuck skull from the ranch I work at. It died a few months ago and has been sitting out in the elements. All of the skin is off, but there is still a bit of a smell. What steps do I need to do to get the skull ready to hang on the wall?

I know I'm going to have to boil the skull, but how do I address the horns? I know they come off somehow, and I bet that most of sthe smell is coming from tissue still inside the casings. Will boiling loosen the horns so they can be removed. And once they are removed, how do you clean the insides of them?
