If feed is cheap right now it is cheap for a reason since they left something out of it.

We switched over years ago to our local co-ops blend which we helped design. It's not much cheaper but cheaper is cheaper. Before that we used antlermax.

soybeans are more expensive than protein around here..i have been using black eyed peas, which are about $1 cheaper than protein per bag.

In Coleman County we have had so much rain the deer wont even touch protien feed.

We swear by Lyssy and Eckel 20% in the field. We use Lyssy and Eckel's Wheeler 17 in DMP...

Purina 20 is a good feed also but can't get it in Mexico.
