The ranch today got over 5+ inches of snow today, so i got on the recon and went out calling with my primos little dog after 20min nothing. So i get on the quad and find some fresh tracks headed to the corner of the pasture i turned around and spotted this yote runnig hard about 200yds to the swamp we have i put a pursuit angle on her jumped of the quad ran into the swamp i rested up against a gate and waited for her to pop out sure enough she did i gave it to her around 100yds on the run. Man i love this sh**, i spotted another yote in the same damn spot but i had moved about 300yds away i took the shot anyway and missed atleast i got one. This snow made it a lot easier to spot eveything i wish it was like this everyday

Hey Killer nice pic and nice shot. The last opp. i had started up close and personal and i kept waitin for him to stop and look back. Didnt happen he never stopped till he was out of range. Wish id had enough guts to take that running shot.

I was going to say the same thing Chev...gotta love those bright sunny days with no wind and temps would hover around 1 degree or so.

Drive from section to section looking down fence lines. Fox and coyotes would lay on the snowbank and sun themselves.

Thank you Lord for the gifts in my life.

We may have to change your name to Killing Machine, or Coyote Nightmare. Very nice! What caliber you shooting?

That your hog trap in the back?

Yes! A Weatherby does kill them deader.

All you would see is a red ball with two black tips at 300 yards without movement, AWESOME! I have to return next winter to fox hunt with my father. We always had the best luck on new years day in the a.m...... Ill try to pull a pic out from a few years back and post it...
GOD BLESS OUR TROOPS
