i am gonna build a hog trap the next time i go up, i have some cow fencing but it is the roll not the panels. will this be ok if i use more t post and maybe put some barb wire around the bottom?

You will have to get it really tight for it to work. If the hogs get out you will have a hard time catching them again.

I don't think so unless you put a t post every foot or so and still not tall enough for big ones.
