Looks pen raised to me.

Quail hunting is like walking into, and out of a beautiful painting all day long. Gene Hill

Are partridge more like dove or quail?

The reason I ask is I like to eat quail but not dove.

Most descriptions of Perdiz is they are partridge or quail like but don't covey up. As far as the meat I'm not sure, maybe someone here has hunted and eat them? My guess is that they don't fly a lot so might be mostly white meat like quail?

Looks like a great hunt, felicidades. I have hunted several times in Argentina (and lived there). The upland bird and waterfowl hunting is outstanding. I can understand someone thinking "pen raised". However, the birds are so abundant and the hunting pressure is so minimal, I don't think there is a need for pen raised preserves like in the US and UK.

Most US preserves have such high prices that one would do better hunting Argentina. You will see and shoot more (wild) birds and the parrillas are the best in the world.
