finally had enough spare change around to pick up a 1911, been wanting one for years. Got a Kimber off the forum and it is amazing, went to the range today and it worked flawless! Only bad thing is now I want more, already looking at the colts and STI.

Anyone have any experience with the .22 conversion kits? I'm thinking about getting one to make the range more affordable.

Now a black rifle or two and I'll be good for a bit

I love my Kimber Warrior. Many rounds down the tube and not one hiccup. Great pistols!

A lot of the conversion kits work good besides they don't lock the slide back when the last round is fired.

I bought one as my first pistol and it's been an awesome gun. Really happy with it.

I have a Kimber .22 conversion and it's superb. As someone posted, it does not lock the slide back after the last shot but it's a nice way to shoot a full size gun without the full size cost.

I have a Kimber Stainless Target II 45 with the Kimber 22 conversion kit. It is very easy to change out and works and shoots great!! I highly recommend it.

Now start assembling your own ammo with cast lead bullets.....it just keeps getting better.

reloading interests me but is also very intimidating to get into, never know anyone who has or does do it

If you dont shoot that much, reloading may not be for you. But if you do, then you may not have a choice, unless you have really deep pockets.
