I have a 14' flat bottom with a newly rebuilt 25 hp Merc. (25hp on a 14 footer....... yeah... It's fast!!!) It's all camo sticker wrap on the outside and stencil painted on the inside. I'm not necessarily looking to part with it, but then again.....everything is for sale for the right price.

One question: How much weight do you have to put in the front of that sucker to keep the nose down?

None. I put on a hydrofoil stabilizer. Rides perfect no matter what the load is. Max speed is about 48mph and turned on a dime!!
Honestly id like to keep the motor and put it on a 16ft boat.

I picked both of mine up pretty cheap from craigslist. Found a 16 footer with a 85hp and a 15 footer w/ a 31hp MB... less than 4k for both. They're nothing special, but they both get me where I need to go.
You have time before season starts, be patient and search... I'll bet you find what you're looking for.

Not sure where your at but if you can check out the Texarkana classifieds. You may end up having to drive to get a boat but chances are you can find a better deal on an old aluminum boat out there. Thats where they build most of them and thats where a lot more people have them. I drove to Ark to get a boat and picked up a 1548 with a 40 for 1500$ motor never ran right but the boat and trailer were worth it.

Does anyone ever see otter/beavertail stealth 2000 for sale. I've been looking for months to find one on many different sites.

You should be able to pick up an all-weld in that size for between 2 and 4k (depending on motor).
