Thanks to James Sharp for helping me to rid my deer trailer of these honey bees. They are truly amazing in every aspect of their being. No pun intended. It would have been easier to have killed them but they are much to valuable to us if there is no need to kill them. I was educated by James a great deal about how these bees operate and it truly is amazing. Bee keeper estimated 3000 new bees were hatching daily. My skin was crawling when I saw them on their comb. Picture was taken after they were smoked.

Man that's great that you didn't kill them. Seen a show not too long ago about how their numbers are on the decline.

A bee keeper friend of mine amazes me with tales about how bees function. It is remarkable. Glad you didn't exterminate them.

I didn't ask for any. He said that he was going to split the hive and would put the honey and brood into a new box without a Queen and they would make a new Queen. They would eat the honey while the new Queen was hatching. I would have liked some but for the price of removal, I was glad to have passed on the honey. Cost was FREE!!! BTW, I did not get stung at all.

That is pretty cool. How long did it take them to make that big of a hive?
