gaurdian, I do not undestand your comment. i am just letting thfers know that this is a great experience.
it is 400 for the 5 hour day. the ammo alone is almost half of the cost. we used hornandy superformance match ammo that is 35.00 plus a box.
where can you shoot at 1100 yards?
when can you shoot a fully tricked out custom rifle with custom loads, and get a 5 hour instruction class?

I've shot that range twice now. And twice I left with about 2 pounds of sand from it! The wind out there will FORCE you to learn to read the effects of wind on your surroundings, if you want to get a hit. I can say I gave several warning shots to the steel out there, but I always enjoy shooting at Chuck's place.
His last team match that rascal gave us a whole bunch of unknown distance just to add a degree of difficulty. If you've never shot a match with UKD I'll tell you that that doesn't mean you have to laser the target yourself, that means you get time to range it with the reticle (fighting mirage) then do the math.
Lots of misses on UKD but it's still a good time even in those crazy winds they have up there.
