Good stuff...

So, seeing you water level stuff...

Would you rather have little water or Lots of water????

that's tough to answer.

when there is a lot of water I can move up the hill and hunt but the birds are spread out so I'm lucky to shoot a few.

when it's really low, the birds aren't concentrating in the area so I'm lucky to shoot a few.

when the water level is just right, the birds fall in and you can pick and choose what you shoot.

completely dry stinks though grin

I'd take a dry year over a wet year and day.

Less water concentrates birds and like you said you can pick and choose! smile

Very nice pics..I’m with WhiskeandMe..We had a great season. The drought had exposed sand bars and flats teeming with ducks...It was just the opposite of the pre hunting reports of the drought killing the season..The bad was the miles of open water to get there…

What's the story with the "No Hunting" sign which you made sure was featured in many of the pics? Also I'm sure an internet game warden will have to site you because of that...you are always guilty first....just remember that.

we hunted with the owner of the course, took carts to and from the hunt, then had breakfast in the club house.

Sounds like some Wayne Lane type stuff. Did you at least take your waders off in the club house?

Kinda like the guys that are showing themselves planting millet around a pond that shows NO second re- growth happening anywhere around…not smart
