North of SA in acreage community with tons of deer. A fawn was left in the backyard by momma this afternoon while she went out. First we've seen, most are still carrying, including the one the wife hand feeds...

Once in Ohio we witnessed a doe and fawn close by. When the doe bolted the fawn dropped like a rock where it stood. I took my six year old grand daughter over to it. We approached and touched the fawn, it was completely still, allowing us to pet it. I figured the heart rate would be pounding. It didn't seem so. It was an amazing experience, with momma a short distance off, blowing and stomping the entire time. Beautiful!
