I can bring by some of my Streamlights if you want. Rechargable and easy to find parts and no question warranty. That doesn't mean they are fragile. I have several

Just bought the XT-11 from West Fork Armory, and got to play last night.
Wow.
This has to be the most bad-butt brightest flashlight ever. It far exceeded my expectations.
You won't be disappointed with this.

Just got the new Klarus today also, its awesome and better than I thought too. Its fairly small but packs a big punch and its more than enough light and the distance is outstanding.

I bought the XLR250 from Elusive Wildlife for varmint hunting and have ended up using it as my primary flashlight even though it is a green light. That thing is awesome. Very powerful and battery life is great. Comes with 2 batteries and charger so you always have a charged spare ready to go.

One more vote for the Streamlight brand. I got the Stinger LED HP a couple months ago. Its a great hand held light and works good as a varmit light. It will burn 8 hrs on low , 3.5 on med and 2.5 hrs on high. I know there are some new and "off brands" that claim a lot more lumens but this thing is bright.

Best part to the steam light you can hard wire the charger in your truck...

+1 on the XLR 250. Far exceeded my expectations. I got the white and red bulbs. I can't imagine ever needing more light than the white puts out. The white light puts out 900 lumens, but when I was ordering it (last year) the salesperson told me that they just got in new white lights (or bulbs) that put out over 1400 lumens. I use the white light for a flashlight and the red for hog / varmint hunting. You also get the bonus of the weapon mounts.

Streamlight. I like the strion rechargeable for size. My duty lights are the larger ones.

Black Bear 84 on the forums here sells a flashlight that he has coverted into a rechargeable light. He sells the light (345 lumens) a charger and batteries and different types of switches and mounts. I have got 2. They are amazing, Ive made a couple of shots at around 80 yards thru my 4x ACOG scope and the coon was highly viasable, could have made a shot easly at 100yrds. It's a very bright light. I highly recommend at least checking it out. besure to read thru all the pages as some things have changed over the year. He is a very quick responder with questions you might have.
The title of the thread is "F/S Surefire rechargeable weapon light" in the trading post forum.

I picked up a couple of Maglights lately, they are LED bright and they use regular C, D or AA batteries. I have had all the real expensive flashlights, and after some time they all need new, batteries, bulbs, LEDS....
I have been real happy with the Maglight C LED...
