That is a Texas Dead Snake! My favorite kind
What kind of lights does it shoot out? Like are we talkin the mini bulb Christmas lights or a 500 watt flood light?

Hard to jdentify when that small and without the head. Might ask Nighthunter about presentation on the plate though. While still limber snakes that size work great for bass bait 
lf the saying "Liar, Liar your pants on fire" were true Mainstream news might be fun to watch

Looks like what we as kids used to call a "decay snake." If it is, it's harmless. We found the majority of them under pot plants... If it is a decay snake, it's the healthiest one I've ever seen!

I killed one no to long ago. It was eating frogs in a tank and was about 3' away from my toes. I put a 22 round in his back and he went bezerk. Then he drowned or something but he didn't reappear.
