Haley was honored with a couple of awards for this past season. She had a good career, but has decided to call it quits. There will be no purple poo in her future. So please allow me, just one last pic of my kid on the field.

I selfishly wanted her to play at the next level, but injury and lack of desire have sent her on a different course. She was always a great competitor and worked hard. I am proud of my girl.

I know you are one proud Papa! Good luck to her in whatever she does you have done a great job and sure she will make great decisions.

With the elbow injury to her throwing arm, she struggled behind the plate and obviously in the outfield. Lead the team in almost all batting categories, but she is done. She will be attending TJC studying dental hygiene, instead of going to Tarleton to study education.

Best of luck. They make their own choices.

She is a pretty good young lady. Never had a mintues trouble out of her. Tomorrow night she will accept a full academic ride at TJC to study her dental hygiene. Not to bad for an unassuming little country girl. Doesn't seem that long ago she we was knee high following me around. Time flies.
