Anyone using those? How do they work under the sun? The reddot (truglo, forgot which model) I have now is very hard to see under the sun

From what I read on them they work very well and it is a green dot not a red so its easier to see under the sun. It is also always on there is no on and off switch there is a hood for it and the sight basically goes to sleep in total darkness. They have rave reviews on AR15.com just like all the other PA stuff. When I wanted to try one they were out of stock and Marshal said they are working on a new GEN and won't have them back in stock until they are done.

How well does/would this work on a Glock?
**Nevermind. PA says it can't handle being mounted on the slide.

From page 2 of your link: Originally Posted By hanzie: anyone test one of these on a shotgun yet? The Micro Dot would be a better choice. It is designed to a higher shock rating. Ahh it’s been a good while since I read that post. I just remembered him testing it on a glock and the initial results were good. I stand corrected thank you.

**Nevermind. PA says it can't handle being mounted on the slide. You sure about that? Yep. Real sure. Read the TOP of the page. ■ Micro Green Dot with Automatic Brightness and on/off. ■ 5MOA Green dot is easily visible making it ideal for any lighting conditions. ■ Integrated mounting base fits virtually any weaver/picatinny rail for use on rifles, pistols, and shotguns. ■ Perfect size and weight to be used in conjunction with other scopes and optics. ■ Comes complete with CR2032 battery, cleaning cloth, and hard shell lens cover. ■ One year exchange warranty ■ Fits in FasfFire mounts ■ We have found that slide mounting on a Glock is just too much recoil for these to hold zero in the long run

Well if its not working out well for a hand gun, then I don't trust it on a 12ga, btw that pa micro red dot will be mounted on a p22...
