Went fishing yesterday for some Ulua and snagged this ugly thing. These things are like alligator gars when it comes to killing them but much worse. No i didn't eat it but used him for bait.

I don't know what type it is there are so many different kinds out here. I had one that was about 5 foot long swallow a fish whole that i lost right in front of me spear fishing last week.

I saw some people cooking an eel on the food network today. After they got it done, the pulled it apart and it was as white as crappie. With it's high fat content, I bet it would be pretty tasty on the grill over some pecan wood.

My first sushi was eel. Its not bad. Its cooked thats why it was my first. Worked my way to the raw stuff.
