Under the tractor this weekend. He caught a .380 in the head. 4' 6" without his head.

I dang near stepped on one this weekend chopping brush building ground blinds . I'm sure glad he wasn't that big!

I'm not sure I could have made that shot with a .380 unless I emptied the magazine and then reloaded.

He's going to live on a little longer. I skinned him and salted him with non iodized salt for a couple of days and then put him in tanning solution for another day. Even with the head and tail cut off, I'll still end up with almost 4' of useable skin. He well may end up on some sheaths.
