 Need a .264 LBC or 6.5 Grendel barrel. Where to get em?

I'm no AR expert but I do know I want more horse power than the .223 makes. So where to get a good barrel and bolt for the .264 LBC or 6.5 Grendel?

Since the Grendel is a SAAMI round now there are more companies chambering for it. Alexander Arms sells uppers, as well as barrels and bolts also. http://www.shopalexanderarms.com/Products-6.5_Grendel.htmlThe 6.5 Grendel I have has an Alexander Arms upper. Since putting in Timney trigger in the spikes lower groups have improved a lot, amazing what going to a crisp 3lb trigger instead of a creepy 7+lb can do. Will take some pics of groups next time out with it, hopefully this weekend.

I'm in the process of building a 6.5G but due to contract issues the only people making true 6.5G barrels is AA as mentioned above. I'm really wanting to get a barrel from Satern but they are still waiting on the proper tools to chamber in the round. They said maybe September. Just be sure not to get a .264LBC because the neck is only .295. If you get a true, SAAMI 6.5G it will have a .300 neck and that is what you want. Medic man218 why would you not want a chamber that blows the neck out to a smaller diameter?

Firemanjg check out precisionfirearms.com or call them. Then can get you a 5r barrel or complete upper. I believe they use lilja barrels. I've seen some posted results from there builds and its very impressive. Don't buy into all the "hype" about which chamber is better or more accurate. It's all a bunch of [censored]

Let us know what you find out...I have been thinking about having a 6.5 built for a lower I have on order.

Ross the 6mm is a tack driver. I'm actually debating selling my current rifle and building a 6mm turbo or rat.

Firemanjg since you're a reloader have you looked at 6mm turbo set ups? I have not. Saw a buddies 6.5 Grendel and ran with the copy of the idea.

Can we get this thread going again with some updated info? I still cannot find very many barrel suppliers, and according to 65grendel.com, almost every supplier has a lengthy lead time.
Has anyone heard anything about in-stock selection here lately? I'm specifically looking for a affordable (as opposed to top of the line) heavy 20".
