If all of your fallow are chocolate will the offspring be chocolate or will you get other phase colors.

It would be my guess that if your herd is strictly chocolate for several generations, they will follow that genetic pattern. The occasional fawn colored will pop up, since somewheres in the family tree those genes will be present. I'm going to guess 80% chocolates with both chocolate parents. Tough question with no definate answer. I do know the color red is a dominate gene in most animals, therefore the fawn/spotted fallows.

No not always but it's a high probability that they will be . We breed fallow and did a test one year and we had all chocolates produce white and spotted fawns. This number was less than 20% of the total fawns but it did happen.
