Have any of yall ever built the duckhuter 2 man marsh boat? It looks very interesting and would be good for a couple of hunters. I am thinking about building it. Let me know if you have another design that would be good for a couple of people. http://www.gatorboats.com/Duckhunter-Boat-Plans.htm

I think it would be a accomplishment to hunt out of a boat that you built. I agree. Im having my Dream boat built for me. bobo was thay very hard to build? Do you put some fiberglass on the outside or just epoxy it or what? how thick is the plywood?

Funny story I was going to build it myself... got the plans modified them.then my 87 year old grandfather swiped them and built it.. I ended up doing a lot of finishing work. But he built 90% of it.
But yes its fiberglassed, ply would is 1/4 and 1/8.
I'm about to start on my great lake style boats for the coast..
Those will be all composite.
Is it hard no...is it time consuming...very.
The difference between home built and commercial built... They are using a mold and chopper gun....which makes it a lot quicker.
There is a lot of builds on the net just Google hybrid layout boat, wooden duck boat
