 Very happy with my first build

A few days ago, I posted the completion of my first build. Started with just an M70 long action & worked out from there.  Took her to the range at lunch today, and I must say I'm awful happy. Remmy Core-Lokt 130 Gr. PSP. Makes me excited to see what she would do with handloads.

Started with a long action from a Winchester M70 Wal-Mart gun my Dad gave me for my birthday that wouldn't hit the broad side of a barn. Ordered a factory .270 barrel, had it cut & crowned, did my own trigger job, then ordered the stock from Stocky's. Stocky's didn't have my color in a blind-mag, long action, so I had to wait for them to order it "custom-made"...14 weeks...  ...can't complain about the wait any more, though. After some sanding inside the stock to get the barrel to fit just right, I like the results. Thanks for looking!
