FoxPro is excellent for cats and fox. Ive had the best luck calling dogs with the new Primos box!

$200 for Fox Pro Wildfire is a good price. I think they usually sell for $299.99

IMO, the best electronic call made is the compucaller. I am not a big fan of the foxpros. I fact I won't hunt with them. Foxpro has a lot of sounds yes, but the vast majority of them are someone sittin in a recording studio blowing on a call something we can all do for a lot cheaper. Also I have not heard a howl out of the foxpro calls that sounded good at all. real urban brothers(compucaller) has real sounds of actual critters. As for the $200 price range Johnny Stewart make some good electronic calls that are around that price range

I have used Foxpro for years but I dont use the calls they give you. I download some good calls then just put the sd card in. I alwayse use calls with 7 min of silence between the coyote challenge and locators. But I've got more coyotes and bobcats off of a fawn distress call not a wounded rabbit or crow. They usually come in within the first minute, so having the remote control is essential and have the attached wobbly tail or rabbit or anything with movement brings them right in.

The reason that most hunters like the Burnham Brothers and Johnny Stewart sounds is that they are actual animal recordings. These sounds are copyrighted and cannot be found on the internet. These are Texas based companies that have been around for a long time. (Burnham Brothers, 60 years). All of the other companies have shown up since predator calling became popular. Most of the recordings available on the internet and some other e-callers are man made sounds. If you are wanting the sound of someone blowing a call why spend the money on an e-caller, a hand call is much cheaper. Who knows, you might produce a better sound than the fellow on the recording. All calls and e-callers can call critters from time to time. I am shocked how many folks think that you can't call a critter without a decoy. While there are situations that a decoy can help you, I have called thousands of critters without one. The most important function of a decoy is to show you wind direction at the call. This will tell you from what direction a coyote will approach the call. The last thing I want to carry to a stand is another motorized piece of equipment. I hunt all day and walk long distances in doing so, I want to travel as light as I possibly can. The companies that try to tell you how important it is to have a motorized decoy are the same folks who are building one. Spend more time making good set ups and save your money for ammo. But what the heck do I know, Adios, Gary
