I have references I can provide. Looking to get on a lease to hog hunt (or help remove the predators). I have no problems with not hunting during bow and general deer season. Will sign a lease contract agreeing to such, as well limiting it to hogs and predators.

Lost my deer lease this year and am just coming to realize how much I counted on being out there to maintain my mental well being! loco

Love to get out and do maintenance too. Never shirk a 'work day' at the lease and I always pack out what I pack in. Have my own blinds, feeders, etc., just need a spot to place them. Also have a few 275gal totes for watering of wildlife. I do like a beer or two, but not before the hunt.

I would be hunting evenings/nights with a night vision scope or under my Texas Boars feeder lights so as not to conflict with existing lease member's routines.

Open to a bow only lease as well, but I really need to get back to shooting hogs with the nv scope or my wife will figure there is something better I could be doing with the $4,000 I spent on it.

Have hunted a lease with no power, water or cleaning facilities the past three years and don't really need to have those things. Thx for any consideration or leads anyone might have.

Check in the Castorville/Hondo/Rio Medina areas with some farmers or the feed stores in those towns. Also check in Pearsall/Derby/Divot area with some of the farmers there. Lot of hogs in and around those farms due to river/creeks in the area. Some of the irrigated farms have serious problems from time to time.

Lost my only contact out in Castroville. I was buddies with the former director of public works. Still cursing the fact he moved to NM.

Thanks for the heads up. I used to do the coffee shop thing at 6AM to find the kind of guys you are talking about, but now that I am in San Antonio proper, it's a much tougher gig.

I wish you luck. As I've been looking for a place also. My daughter wants to go pig hunting. She's hooked on hunting now after getting her first deer this past season. And im just trying to find something to keep her interested in hunting.

Thought I had some leads around Poth and Floresville but nothing's panned out yet. Also working on a co-worker with a few acres whose having problems with pigs. It wouldn't be a lease but at least it's some place to go to shoot a hog or two.
