Started out with large flocks coming to the lake, but not wanting to land in the decoys. About an hour into the hunt smaller flocks started working the decoys and 4 of us ended up with 10 birds. All in all it was a good morning.

Hoping tomorrow will be a little better on the decoying birds.

All blues except 1 green. Most of the birds that I saw in flight were blues also.

DID YOU GUYS HUNT LAKE RAY HUBBARD OR TAWOKONI? I HAD FORGOT ALL ABOUT THE EARLY TEAL SEASON SINCE MOVING HERE FROM SOUTH LOUISIANA.

Day 2 was much better. The teal came into the decoys much better today. We limited out by 7:45, group of three. All blues today.

I thought Ray Hubbard was closed to hunting?????

It's not skybusting, if you make the shot.

I wanted to go on Sunday, but slept in after the long day on Saturday. However, I will be sneaking out tomorrow morning to a private pond we hunt and it had about 30 to 40 on it yesterday...not hunted yet, but should get two good hunts out of it.

Glad to hear the good results, I was wondering how this hot weather would effect the hunting. Makes me want to fight the heat and get after 'em.

Tried a new puplic spot on Sunday. Got to shoot at one DOVE. (I was Teal hunting) Say one large group of birds fly by at a distance. Hope to do better next weekend
