How does it work out there...do you just take a pop-up and set it in a spot u pick out? or do they put you in particular "pre-selected" spot?
What about corn or feeders or feed routes?
Looks like a neat place I'd like some info from some of ya'll, if you don't mind...
Thanks

you pick the pature you want to hunt. 4 people per pasture. once its full you have to hunt somewhere else, but if you put your name on it the first day you can hunt it the whole time. they are about 600-1000acres each. go scout and set up on thursday. you can hunt anywhere in the pasture as long as there is noone else there. there were a couple working feeders, but the whitetail were all over them. no feed routes either. we took our own corn, but the only thing that came and ate was whitetail and turkey. now that i have been, i know a couple prime time spots for the next trip.

They allow 4 people per pasture. You go out and scout and put your pop up where ever you want. Some of the feeders were working and some weren't. You can put out corn or alfalfa or whatever you think will work. It's a pretty laid back deal and some super nice folk's.

Those critters definitely knew what a pop up blind was. The tripod was a stealthier approach in the area we hunted.

Yeah, I had to move my pop-up about 100 yards to where they were entering the field. I had lots of brush layed up against it and put it between a couple trees. It still made them rather nervous. They are definately used to their surroundings and picked up on the abnormalities rather quick.

Also, I'm not going to say who. But somebody spelled "Useing" wrong. HAHA!! Which only illustrates the need for less than perfect grammar on my part.

I just got a call from the Baker 3 Ranch. They found the buck I shot. Apparently we didn't look in the right place. He will be shipped to my taxidermist next week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Next time I may put the pop up where I don't want them to go and move them toward me in the tripod.
