I am a soldier stationed in central Texas. I am looking for a place to hunt hog, and that's it. All the leases I have found are just retardedly expensive and the public land is just so far and few between that it isn't really a help either. Also hunting on post is a no go because of all the rules and regulations that go along with it. I have been back from Iraq since August, and really would like to get into hunting pig. I have tried some of the public land near here without any luck. Anyone that can give me some advice or knows anywhere to hunt or find cheap hunting leases please let me know.

Check with DBhuntingranch. He is here on the forum, usually in exotics or outfitters section. He runs pretty reasonable pig hunts close to Ft Hood. Also check around with the other members here. Most of them are stand up guys and will get you on some pigs.
