The material Kelvin is referring to is called hydroturf. And, IMO, it is a must in any aluminum boat. Anyone needing any just give me a shout....I have some in stock. Throw me a quote as well if you don't mind. I have the 20 foot GTrax. Thank you Sir.

1ShotNoKill, I was in the same situation you are in a couple of years ago. I was looking for a good duck boat but something that can handle the coast as well.
I ended up going with a G3. In fact its a 18CCT G3 with a 90 on the back. I chose this one because it has a tunnel hull as well as pods on the back. With a 90 motor on a CNC you can raise the motor almost out of the water and be able to get into SKINNY water. The tunnel is what allows you to do this.
With a center consol boat like this you can store all your stuff and pack enough people to get to your location, FAST and in shallow water. When your done hunting, the boats acts as a great boat for fishing. I use it all the time in the lakes and bays of Texas. I wouldnt trade it for nothing. Been offered trades in the past with mud motors and I would take it.
This is the boat here: http://www.google.com/imgres?um=1&hl=en&client=firefox-a&hs=0ND&sa=N&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&channel=np&biw=1369&bih=733&tbm=isch&tbnid=sCpdJWQZ9S99OM:&imgrefurl=http://winnipeg.boatverse.com/fishing-boats/2011-g3-boats-1860-cct_2718.html&docid=yoRQ22uUVZ-lVM&imgurl=http://images1.boatverse.com/nlarge/1860_cct_2854.jpg&w=515&h=329&ei=1ZhfT8XYHrL_sQLO3KmWCA&zoom=1&iact=rc&dur=332&sig=101255814603699268260&page=1&tbnh=109&tbnw=170&start=0&ndsp=28&ved=1t:429,r:3,s:0&tx=100&ty=68
Best of luck
