This is a build I have done for the United States Marine Corp. It is one of ten units I am building for them going over to the desert in Kuwait to be used in a wildlife study there. Rodney (Modelclan) did the camo job which turned out excellent to match the desert area I think. It is in a 1060 Pelican case. Has a Vivitar 2800 Slave flash with the Slavemaster controlling it. Camera is a Sony W220 12mp camera. Used one of Joe's Snorkels for the extending lens. Hod Rodney to dip it as well. Controlling everything is the Big Foot Board running a custom program done by Chris (212). During the daytime it has the TrailMaster program which gives pics with a 2 second delay. At nightfall it automatically goes to a 9 second delay to allow the slave to fully recharge between pics. With the flip of a few dip switches it will do daytime only 30 second videos in 720p HD with amped sound which is awesome. Microphone is located in the bottom of the case by the glass bulb containing the CDS. Slave is powered by 8 AA's. They will be using Lithiums in the unit so I installed a 2 AA holder instead of a 3 AA as we usually do for the external camera power. Should work well. I milled out a custom tri-pod adapter and had Rodney dip it as well. Installed it on the bottom of the unit as you can see in the pics, Not many trees over there in that desert. A big THANK YOU goes out to Rodney, Chris, and Joe. These guys went above and beyond on this project as they always do. I am sure the Marine Corp will be PLEASED!! 9 More of these to go.............

Way over my head but looks good!

Looks awesome.

Just one question though, why is the Marine Corps studying animals in the deserts of Kuwait?

I have no idea why or what they are studying. I was very suprised when they contacted me. Just thought it was pretty cool. Maybe they will share some of the critter pics with me.

Cool camera. Add one battery or take one away. 13 is not a good number for me. roflmao

If you keep your hair short and your mouth shut, things tend to run a lot smoother.
