Without having to convey how much money anyone makes or what their lease cost is! Just the lease price and not included all the extras like corn\gas\ect.
I saw a lease posted yesterday for $12,000 a gun...so for example if someone is making $120,000 a year this is 10% percent of their income for a lease.
Personally I am trying to stick to under 5%, I can't justify more than that.

I spend about $2000 year supporting personal hunting and about $10,000 a year supporting client hunts. Not sure as a percentage of income, but sure helps company revenue......

Rifleman, you must be buying not leasing?
I thought I remembered you saying you only hunted like twice this past season. I wouldn't think 25% wouldn't be worth it for two hunts?
thanks.....and i guess household income, some lucky fella's might have some sugar momma's! lol

Buying and leasing. I've yet to hunt deer on anything I have leased, have it to keep folks off it.
And my wife, though expensive in her own right, could be classified as a sugar mama.

Own, buy, and lease.
Ok leases pay for them selves via ag.
TX lease- 1.6 percent

'Bout 12% for just the lease.

Isn't it funny how day by day nothing changes but when you look back everything is different.
Nowadays people know the price of everything and the value of nothing.

No funds from combined incomes but work security as second job to fund hunting obsession. Of that income I spend about 75% rest is used for hunt related gear and goes into savings for a bucket list hunts.

<1% It's the feed, seed, and fuel bill that ramps up that percentage. Securing the land was the cheap part. I would go broke chasing/growing antlers if it weren't for my CFO/wife.

I imagined the average was going to be around 5% but that was a guesstimate! Is there such a thing as DHA (deer hunting anonymnous) Lol
I was actually told by a landowner tonight that he required bio's of all the active hunters in our group and then we would be put in line to look at one of his lease's. I don't want to marry the landowner's daughter, I just want to hunt! lol

I dont spend much on hunting, but I have spent a big chunk on the land I hunt on.
