Start with where are you going, how do you plan on setting up, and what do you plan on doing to bring coyotes in? Knowing this we can offer you more help based upon what you already know and plan to do maybe?

callin coyotes is an aquired skill set, best learned by example.
if there were anyway that you could tag along with someone who is experianced your odds of seeing a coyote and perhaps getting a shot are tremendously improved.
other than that as stated we don't have enough info to help you, night hunting? day ? mouth call or electronic, what kind of shootin iron? terrain? lots of different variables to take into consideration.
