I got another spot to hunt a few months ago but havent been able to hunt it do to the wet weather and work but this weekend I had my chance. I was out yesterday to scout the area and it was beyond perfect for predator hunting. I made my first stand at 7:20 with a cottontail distress and a mojo critter decoy at 7:30 I had two yotes come in behind me about 40yds but they saw me before I saw them and they started cooking. I grabbed the mossy 835 and hit the closest one to me but it was an @#% shot about 50-60yds and it ran off with the other one down the hill. Deep inside I knew I hit em but the terrain was rocky and full of holes so I just thought it tripped. I walked down the hill to make another stand somewhere else and thats when I heard something in the tree-line. I looked over and it was that damn yote and she was wounded, Carlsons dead coyote choke with 3-1/2 heavy shot dead coyote finished the job.  Im not gonna lie it was one hell of a rush to have them suprise me like that im just glad I was able to get one of them.
