I'd ask him if he's pregnant. He missed a s__tload of periods. I'll take "things that look like a uterus" for $200 Alex.

Very nice! Yep!

Artist wishes to remain nameless. Actually, it appears some clarification may be in order here: My name is Matthew Smith. I own and operate Bird Works Taxidermy and I mounted those birds for Brian R. When Brian R. picked up his birds and told me how excited he was about them I asked him not to put anything in a post that would be construed as advertising for more business as I am not taking new clients right now. Unfortunately, The "wishes to remain nameless" comment could be perceived to have a negative inference, but Brian has assured me that is not his intent. I was happy to have done the birds for him and hope they bring him many years of good memories. Thanks again for allowing me to mount your trophies BrianR...you are a class act Sir.
Overheard at my last convention: "If you wanna make a million bucks in taxidermy, start out with 2 million and in 5 years, if you're lucky, you'll have a million left."

Thanks again Matt. These birds are very special to me, they came from my first season of real duck hunting (I had been before when I was younger but never got the bug until a couple years ago). The gaddy has the most meaning to it because that was the first time we actually got birds to work in with a call and we busted the group of 3 that consisted of that gaddy and a pair of mallards and the gaddy was bigger than both of them and I have been hooked ever since. I shot alot of gaddys this year and I still have never seen one with that coloring or near that size. The other birds are the first birds of that species that I have shot and was lucky enough to shoot quality birds. Now they will be display in my home, frozen in time for me to remember forever. The lighting on the spoonie does not make the head look as green as it really is. The pictures below will be hanging next to each mount so I will always remember the hunt they came from. Keep up the good work Matt, and thanks again.

Nice work. That is a heck of a shoveler. I'd definetly mount one that nice.
