Was he caught by the leg? Curious if the old wisdom about a coyote chewing its own leg off to get away is true.

Was he caught by the leg? Curious if the old wisdom about a coyote chewing its own leg off to get away is true. Ive seen old traps with part of the foot/leg left and no other remains. Assuming thats what they did.

Was he caught by the leg? Curious if the old wisdom about a coyote chewing its own leg off to get away is true. He was caught right above the elbow on his front leg. Didnt look like he had been there very long though.

kill him or let him go ?? Wasnt my snare so I left it how I found it. His fate will be determined by whoever set the snare.

They will chew there leg off with jaw type traps because of the pain but never seen one do that with a snare.
