I know everyone rags on afternoon hunting but today was just too perfect of a day to have nothing goin on and not to go hunting. This semester in college Im not able to go in the mornings during the week(like a did last semester) because of class so i decided to take advantage of some free time this afternoon.

Me and a buddy got out to one of our spots about 3 o'clock, started to set out decoys saw a few ducks flying around and before we could hide the boat had 6 gwt try to land on us!The next hour and a half didnt see crap until we had a group of 3 gwt come in, shot the drake. 5 mins later another group of 3 gwt came in shot two more drakes! As i walked to get the downed drakes i heard my buddy yell birds! I look up and see a drake land to our left. I look around dont see any other birds flying so when he flushes i bust him... then a few seconds later to my horror see about fifty teal flare up above the tree line! I felt horrible!!

But all in all we had a fun day four birds is better than zero sittin on the couch. Oh and sorry about not having any pictures i dont own a camera, looks like im goin to have to start borrowing my moms lol

ANYTIME is better than not at all. I have only gone once this year... My job has kept me from it.

hey i think u left out the part about shootin at the geese...while i was callin at thim tryin to show me they were waterturkeys....all n all u messed up big 2 times and that cannot be allowed....
