did it score 177 and some change? There was a deer taken out there that I saw pics with score, but the picture I saw was in front of the RC WMA sign. I will have to look because I can't remember the branched G2's or not.

Wow. Taking that deer from a WMA is like winning the lottery.

Years ago, I used to get up early in the morning a couple times a year and just go park on the side of the road past the RC spillway. It was nothing to see 100+ deer out in the big fields below the dam. I've see several BIG deer running doe in that area through binoculars from the road. But I have never hunted the WMA for deer. Football season, so I don't have time to go scout for a place to hunt out there.

Why you would say that they pull deer out like that all the time

If you think this guy is a fluke. Stop on the side of the road behind Richland Chambers dam and look out across the field. There are deer out there that are just as big and bigger. Some of them will make you sick how big they are

Dont count out hunting on public land, they kill deer over 170 every year around Lake Whitney.

That deer was an import. The only big deer killed on public land are from Lake Meredith. Now move along and don't look back. bolt
