Thanks for all the kind words. I'm still super pumped about harvesting her. I used my Winchester model 670 in 30.06 with winchester brand supreme silver tips 180grain. Shot her at about 150 yards hit her in the spine because I was zeroed in at 200. Exit wound was about the size of a quarter.
Oh and that one steak we through on the grill last night just for grins even though she hasn't be aged at all was AWESOME! Hands down the finest tasting meat I've ever had in my life.
