My daughter has been after this hog for months, no matter what we do we cant seem to be at the feeder the same time he is. She wants this spotted hog BAD. This is her white whale and she isnt stopping till she gets it.

Stay on him, don't give up. A nice spot like that stands out if others around you hunt, I'd be on him double time or she may never get a chance.

My wifes the same way since we first saw one almost exactly like that one but about 200 pounds heavier. We thought it was dairy cow at first. Too bad we didn't have permission at that time to hunt that persons property. So we still look for that day..good luck to you and your daughter.

I had one similar to yours and it took me 3 months of watching for him and catching glimpses of him for about 5 seconds at a time. Finally he stepped out in the middle of the afternoon and just stood there looking at me like he was trying to figure out what to do next. I helped him decide. Put one just under his left eye with the .223 and he decided to drop dead right there. Sure felt good to finally tag him. He weighed 225.
