Need to find some free float hand guards with rails that are not 400 dollars mine is not a wall hanger or just goes to the range only... Also need new butt stock pref multi positions. Mine has the stock collapsible one on it. And do I need a new buffer and spring with the one you recommend. Thanks in advance for your advice
The canopy became his shroud; he hurtled to the ground. And he ain't gonna jump no more. Gory, gory, what a hell of a way to die, he ain't gonna jump no more!

Your options are Troy (175-220 depending on TRX or MRF). JP which are 200ish. Or Daniel defense 300ish.
MI has a drop in model for midlengths thats 150ish.
All you need is a new stock, your buffer assembly is fine as is.

There is mine I got my new bipod since this pic and moved it back onto the gas block. But rather move it back on the hand guards

Which ones do you recommend? My deal is she plays in the mud and dirt. And she gets scratched up I am in fields and on the ground and etc. Are there any real differences? Weight is not really a issue cause most shots are taken in the prone position. And we are sitting and waiting.

Weight is not really a issue cause most shots are taken in the prone position. And we are sitting and waiting. The MRF, andn Daniel defense are rails. The TRX and JP are tubes that rails can be added to. My personal preference and what I run on my 308 is the daniel defense. They are much stronger, I could phyically move my TRX on the end (I even milled my TRX E down to help the rigidity, still didn't like it). Probably doesn't affect things, but the daniel defense is much stronger and is light as well. In addition the daniel defense is a quad rail that is slim, its more of an oval than a circle like alot of rails are. I run nightvision with IR laser aiming device on my guns, so a rail that doesn't move is important to me. I need rails and not tubes on mine because I run a VFG and a flashlight as well. Yea, I could put the little rails on where needed, but a railed handguard is just better in my opinion. Tubes are for varmint/target applications in my opinion. Edit: Pic of mine on a ORC, I have the same setup now but its on an Armalite (T).

Mine loves them but those are for special piggies 150 yards plus. For 100 yards and less I just use the cheap Winchesters

According to DPMS this is my only choice for hand guards. Since mine is the older LR308 AP4

http://www.dpmsinc.com/photo.aspx?path=http://www.dpmsinc.com/store/products/images/?id=1843 With the Troy rails(MRF-308 and TRX-308) all that is needed for the older rifles is a different barrel nut. http://troyind.com/%20/rail-systemsacces...il-mrf-308-13-8

Does it matter Mil or Commercial spec? You just Need to know which one you have and buy a stock that fits. I like VLTOR.
