WAL, if I still lived in Needville, I'd come layout those dekes in a heartbeat..I'm about to deck out the attic this weekend, or at least attempt too....I'll get a pic of everything or almost everything I got...sad thing is, probably only 25% of them have actually been used or will be used in a given year frown but I swear next year, if anyone else posts up that they have geese, just no dekes up here, I'LL BE READY!!!

13 dozen Snow goose sillosocks
56 Snow shells w/ motion stakes
16 Specklebelly shells
30 full body Snows
400 +/- Snow and dark mixed flags

3-4 dozen mixed duck decoys

Looking to get more of the sillosocks for next year. I like the way they look and I can carry a lot in one trip to the field. I also want to add some full body specklebellies.

Those sillosocks are in a whole lot better shape than mine are. Bullet (my dog) will run over a half a dozen everytime he goes after a bird. Hunters who have not used sillosocks will destroy them as well. Then the mud and regular wear and tear will devistate them. I am convinced it is cheaper, at least easier, to just up front the money and go with an outfitter when it comes to snow gooses.

These bags are filled with stacked goose shells. I see a trade in my future

I sure do. My wife just doesn't understand though. She has the nerve to tell me I don't need anymore decoys. What in the world could be on her mind to say something as shameful as that?

LOL, how many silos do you have? That's one helluva stash! You haven't been chasing them any during this conservation season? I wish I was making a run back home, we could hit up our place if they were there. Where'd ya get the PINTAILS from?

Heres some of the goose decoys that i have currently at the house. I still need to go pick up the rest of them and throw them in the attic. Buying decoys is such an addiction thats killing me

-If I buy any more waterfowl hunting stuff this year I'll be eating cat food and crackers for dinner.

Couple more..if anyone local wants a couple of these bigarse oldschool bigfoots, let me know. I love'em, but not worth the space they take up to me. I'm keeping about a dozen. Here's a pic of the newly decked attic. We used 4.5 sheets of 4x8 OSB sheathing so we did some good work. The before in this pic was just the beams and ceiling showing.

How well do the Bigfoot decoys stand up in a hard wind? I have an opportunity to buy some but am hesitant because I don't know how they do.

I've never used them, I just bought these this year...the older torpedo shaped ones would hold up great, they are pretty heavy. The newer ones in the top left of the second pic are a little smaller and lighter. I would imagine they would hold up well even in a pretty strong gusty wind.

I only have snows/blues yes, and if I got rid of any, it would only be some of the snows as I want to repaint the blues to make them stand out a little better. They are beat up, but the snows since they are all white would still work as if they were new. The thing I hate most about them is there's like 6 pieces to each deke. They have a freaking bolt going thru the feet!!! WHY??
